Key Performance Areas- Drive internal communication activities. Maintain and develop Dormer Pramet intranet and manage and support intranet editor/content network. - Maintain and develop Dormer Pramet's external communication activities, including PR, Media Relations, and the global Social Media strategy. - Represent Dormer Pramet in Sandvik/SMS forums, working groups and projects on internal and external communications-related topics. - Support and liaise with the management team (DPMG) on relevant communication activities across multiple functions and projects. - Be a communication contact for M&A activities and support integration activities. - Support the Production Units in their communication requirements, to maximize engagement amongst the local teams. - Working alongside other communications professionals to plan, deliver and discuss key content needed. - Manage agencies and freelancers to support the overall communication activities.
Internal communication- Overall responsibility for the development and day-to-day management of the intranet and relevant content. -
- Coordinate the intranet editor and content network. Request for local topics and support all individuals in the team with publishing content, scheduling, training and guidance. -
- Upload news, blogs and announcements from the DPMG and group functions, and liaise with the President on his blogs and quarterly performance updates. -
- Monitor and track intranet usage across the organization using Google Analytics. -
- Organize monthly manager webinars, quarterly company webinars, and F2F town halls to increase engagement and two-way communication. -
- Lead the preparation of a yearly Global Management Meeting (3 day event with 100 top leaders)Social media presence- Identify, create and post updates across all relevant social profiles day-to-day. - Monitor and react to any comments, direct messages or engagements with customers; is supported by social media editor/content network. - Maintain and develop the social media editor/content network. Request for local topics and support all individuals in the team with publishing content, training and guidance. - Monitor and track social media performance and results of all global and local profiles. - Develop and review the company's global social media strategy. - Liaise with agencies to provide additional support, expertise and guidance.
PR & media- Actively identify, write and approve a regular flow of press releases from the company for distribution by the local markets. - Work with local markets, sales teams and global functions to identify key topics for future publicity. - Monitor and track media coverage of the Dormer Pramet brand around the world. Provide local markets with easy access to local reports and analytics. - Support local markets in building relationships with relevant trade journalists and publications and help local markets manage media enquiries and requests. - Assist markets with advertorial needs and material requirements. - Manage and coordinate crisis communications strategy and implementation.
About You
We're looking for someone who has proven strong organizational skills in previous assignments in a truly global setting. You're both a planner and a doer, with a positive attitude and a natural talent for networking and communicating with people from different cultures and settings. You enjoy working in an ever-changing environment.
Your Profile- Excellent writing and editing skills - fluent in English- 5-8 years of experience writing for various channels, including video scripts, presentations, and keynotes- Visual storyteller; strong design and video editing experience a plus- Highly proficient in the suite of Microsoft products- Thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and excels at working on global teams- Outstanding project manager, able to manage external resources
This position reports to - Vice President Communications & Branding, Dormer Pramet. Location is Global Flexible, with Remote Working. Since we are a global business, travel will be a natural part of the role, as well efficient digital
