Community Engagement Manager, AWS InCommunities DESCRIPTION
AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

Join the AWS InCommunities team and support the Community Engagement program for AWS Infrastructure in Milan.
Liaise with external stakeholders including local community groups and organizations as part of major infrastructure projects.
Manage engagement and contribute to AWS infrastructure expansion by facilitating discussions related to community engagement during planning approvals.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with external community stakeholders to understand their needs and collaborate on impactful outcomes.
Key job responsibilities:
Be the main point of contact for the Community Engagement program for AWS's infrastructure business in Milan.
Provide vision and strategy for the community engagement initiatives across the region.
Manage the development of partnerships with local stakeholders and the planning and delivery of community programs and initiatives.
Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, human resources, legal, public policy, and public relations.
Manage community events and inspire AWS employees to volunteer and engage through these events.
Identify opportunities and develop creative approaches to challenges.
Oversee budget and be responsible for expenditures within your span of control.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Public Policy or related discipline 5+ years working in Stakeholder engagement, Public Policy, External Affairs, Social Responsibility, Communications or related domains Experience working with constituent groups including non-profit organizations and employee volunteering programmes.
Excellent project management skills and writing and verbal communications skills in English and Italian PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Relevant Advanced degree Experience working collaboratively in a highly-matrixed environment Strong judgment and decision-making skills Knowledge of other European languages a bonus
