The Community Specialist will work with the local market team to develop and deliver our Community plan. You will build authentic, meaningful relationships and partnerships that position On at the heart of our communities - helping grow On's fan base and connection with runners and movers. You are a true brand ambassador, consistently driving engagement with the brand and are deeply connected to what is happening within our community.
**Your Mission**:
- Connect and ignite the brand with run crews, clubs and groups - creating relationships as an authentic part of their communities.
- Build and manage the ambassador program, owning the ambassador activation calendar and driving community outreach.
- Build key strategic partnerships with key city focus, helping grow brand awareness and engage with a new audience.
- Own our local Right to Run initiatives and programs with key charity and social partners that help ignite the power of the human spirit.
- Support with local event delivery across logistics, programming and activation - from On events such as On Track Nights to sponsored races, expos and conceptual brand moments.
- Work closely with DTC Retail team, connecting communities with our brand spaces - supporting programming and activation.
**Your story**:
- Ideally 3+ years relevant experience in community focused role or closely related partnerships, events or brand activation, preferably in run or movement lifestyle. We are open to varying levels of years experience as long as you bring the relevant skills and competency needed to thrive in this role.
- Passionate about running and movement, with a proven track record of involvement and engagement within broad running and movement communities across Milan or Italy market.
- Deep understanding of running and wider movement culture. You're immersed in On communities, understanding their pulse and anticipating the next big wave. You're not just familiar with running culture; you're practically an encyclopedia on the clubs, crews, and running groups that shape our city's energetic landscape.
- Building and strengthening relationships is a motivator for you - you're energized by meeting new people and forming deep connections. Whether it's rallying teams internally, collaborating with external partners, or charming stakeholders, your finesse knows no bounds
- Fluent or C2 level Italian and proficient English language capabilities are a must to thrive in this role.
- Located in Milan or within close proximity.
- Proven experience in organizing successful events and community group runs, showcasing your ability to bring people together and create impactful experiences. From organizing large community runs to orchestrating seamless gatherings, you've got a knack for bringing people together.
- Your project management skills? Top-notch. You're confident in delegating tasks, coordinating teams, and keeping multiple projects on track.
- You're a team player and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spark. Curiosity fuels your creativity, and problem-solving is your playground.
- Flexible working hours? No problem. You understand that the best ideas often come outside the 9-to-5, and you're more than willing to roll up your sleeves on evenings and weekends to make magic happen and accommodate the dynamic nature of the role and the running community's schedule.
