Start date: 9 Feb 2025 Contract length: 12 months + long term preferred Pay: $35 per hour plus super A professional family in Como, WA are seeking an experienced and kind nanny to assist in the care of their 2 boys (Aged 6 and 8 years).

The normal days are: 4 days per week - 18 hours per week Mon, Thurs, Fri (Split shift 7am – 9am and 3pm - 6pm) Wed 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm An ideal nanny would be kind, patient, and resilient.

A nanny that is also friendly, happy, and interested in actively engaging in indoor and outdoor activities with the children and being a positive role model.

A nanny who is able to manage and support children's behaviour, especially on days when the youngest is having trouble regulating emotions.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable, and is able to follow the children's routines.

The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the childrenFollow the children's routineDrop off/pick up from schoolHomework assistancePlay and engage with the children in the mornings and afternoonsLight household duties, i. e. , general tidying up after meals or activitiesPreparation of snacks and some assistance with simple dinner preparation if circumstances allowThe family's expectations from their nanny are: 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcareExperience with ADHD would be ideal but not necessaryHave a current first aid certificate (or be willing to obtain one)Have a current Working With Children's CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishNon-smokingFull driver's license, clean driving record, and own car (kms and petrol to be reimbursed)
