Valentino SpA is looking for a COMPENSATION & BENEFIT SPECIALIST to be hired in the Human Resources department, who will support the Total Rewards Department to provide equitable, competitive, and fair rewards, acting as an agent and contributor of our center of expertise.
Main Responsibilities Support the design and implementation of Total Reward systems, and monitor compensation policies, including variable incentives. Analysis of reward systems through internal and external benchmarks to ensure fair and competitive remuneration levels. Monitoring, maintenance, and updating of Job Model and Job Grading systems (knowledge of the Korn Ferry-Hay methodology is a preferred requirement) to ensure alignment across Functions and Regions. Updating external compensation benchmarks and constructing salary structures to support market competitiveness and internal pay equity. Support the team during the annual Salary Review cycle, working alongside HRBP colleagues both in Italy and in foreign regions. Ad hoc analysis to provide information and support the business in understanding elements related to HR and compensation topics. Analysis of job roles and compensation packages for both the HQ and the Regions, to support HRBP/HR managers in ensuring motivating and fair salary growth. Mapping and analysis of benefits in the different countries where the Maison is present, to align the offering and define a shared evolutionary and improvement path. Analysis and updating of insurance benefits offered to employees for the Italian scope, ensuring the related reporting. Support in the maintenance, analysis, and improvement of the corporate welfare system for the Italian scope. Participate in HQ projects related to compensation, benefits, and job architecture. Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date record-keeping systems and processes. Requirements Master's degree in economics/humanistic subjects (degrees in business management, mathematics/statistics, HR Management, and philosophy will be preferentially considered). 2-3 years of experience in compensation/cost control roles; experience within multinational environments will be considered a plus. Knowledge of Job Evaluation and compensation analysis methodologies (e. g. , WTW, Mercer, Korn-Ferry Hay). Knowledge of principles of salary benchmarking, compensation surveys, labor market trends. Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with HRIS systems (e. g. , Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) will be considered a plus. Proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English. Curiosity, ethic, analytic mindset, and a passion for human resources. Problem-solving, innovative approach. Ability to work effectively in teams.
