Competition Director - Kings League Italy
Main Responsibilities
- Identify the needs of the sports area and define an efficient and effective organization.
- Optimize the use of available human and material resources.
- Know the competition rules, be aware of updates, and propose changes and improvements based on the experience acquired in each edition of the championship.
- Keep teams, referees and all parties involved in each competition informed.
- Manage the competition calendar, define and adapt it as necessary and in coordination with the clubs, and communicate it in a timely manner to all parties.
- Define, organize and implement the player selection process for each championship.
- Propose and supervise the process of drafting and assigning players to league teams.
- Coordinate with the clubs the extraordinary signings (outside of the draft), ensuring that they comply with the established rules.
- Manage the technical team of referees and other support functions on the field of play, ensuring the optimal execution of each day's competition.
- Organize the training schedule and calls for each day's competition.
- Supervise that the field of play and sports facilities always comply with the requirements and conditions defined for each championship.
- Resolve with agility any incident during the execution of the competitions, related to the sports area.
- To be the point of contact for the league presidents in relation to sporting aspects of the events.
- Prepare budgets and ensure their correct follow-up and compliance.
- Analyze the results/success of each competition and propose actions to correct inefficiencies and/or improve future editions, thus contributing to maintain the differentiating proposal of the project.
- Attend and/or view all league games (ideally in person but not mandatory).
- Lead, dynamize and present the inter-weekly programs (Chup chup chup, After Kings and future ones).
- Be the spokesperson for the league in terms of sports.
- Maintain close collaboration and coordination with the League President to ensure consistency and unity in league messages and events.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in coordination of sports competitions or soccer clubs, plus professional experience as a soccer player, coach or referee.
