Staff Compiler AI Engineer - Remote in Italy An exciting opportunity for an experienced Integration Engineer to join an International Deep-Tech Start-Up, who specialises in Artificial Intelligence chip manufacturing.

This role has the option for Fully Remote Working, or onsite in locations in Italy or onsite in Florence, Bologna, Milan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the design of circuitry, PCB, package, and silicon and ensuring that the complete solution is designed holistically.

As a Staff AI Compiler Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our mission to revolutionize AI hardware.

You'll lead the development of our cutting-edge neural network compiler, pushing the boundaries of performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Architect and Develop: Design, implement, and optimize our compiler, focusing on hardware-aware transformations for In-Memory Computing.

Drive Innovation: Explore new techniques to support diverse workloads, from traditional CNNs to emerging generative AI models.

Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our compiler seamlessly integrates with our hardware and software stack.

Mentor and Guide: Share your expertise, foster a culture of excellence, and empower the team to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven track record in AI compiler development, with deep knowledge of workload partitioning, scheduling, memory hierarchy management, and synchronization.

Strong understanding of computer architecture and heterogeneous compute systems.

Experience with open-source compiler frameworks (TVM, MLIR, Glow) and neural network frameworks (PyTorch).

Passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset.
