To audit all daily income that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as Rooms, F&B and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting system. How your day looks like? Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Reports to the Hotel & F&B management Team Review all paid-outs, revenue adjustments, rebates and allowances for reasonableness, properly approved with supporting documentation, and report any deviations from hotel policies and procedures. Review the Night Manager's report on a daily basis Check guest in-house rate check report; variance must be explained by Front Office Ensure complimentary and house use room comes with appropriate supporting documents Monitor guests checked out with open paymaster accounts (Guest Ledger) Track guests in house with credit limit exceeded (High Balance Report) Review revenue adjustments Check market segment report Periodically conduct training for Front Office staff Qualifications: Relevant qualification or experience in Accounting, Finance Prior experience as an Accounts Payable clerk or equivalent Experience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels preferred Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (French advantageous) Effective organization, communication, and presentation skills At Belmond, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
