The Compliance Officer is in charge of ensuring that the Company's operations and business follow all relevant legal, regulatory, Group and internal rules, and of developing and implementing an effective compliance program for the Company, including AFC matters (AML&CTF, Financial Sanctions and ABC).

More in detail, the Compliance Officer core accountabilities are to:

- identify at all times the applicable regulatory and Group requirements, assess their impacts on the Company processes and procedures, supporting and advising the Management Board and the other functions on those matters;

- review and validate LR internal regulations;

- proactively auditing processes, practices and documents;

- assess the adequacy and the effectiveness of the organizational measures adopted to mitigate the compliance risk and suggests measures to enhance the capacity of the compliance management system to mitigate the compliance risk;

- assess the effective implementation of the suggested measures;

- coordinate and supervise compliance activities in accordance with the applicable legislation (Dutch);

- carry out compliance activities related internal regulations and the group compliance operating model;

- provide the BU Compliance and AFC Officers with regular reporting, each for their own part;

- submit the annual Compliance Plan to the BU Compliance and AFC Officers for suggestions, each for their own part, prior to the approval of the Management Board;

- promptly inform and update the BU Compliance and AFC Officers on major compliance failures, each for their own part;

- participate in exchange of issues, best practice and lessons learned across the company, with other control functions and with Group Compliance & AFC;

- educating and training employees

**Requirements**:

- university level degree or comparable, preferably in law, business administration or finance/economics;

- second level Master's degree in compliance or internal control system-related topics would be a plus;

- prior experience of 5-7 years;

- communication skills into Italian and English;

- successful, multi-year track record in prior similar or connected functions (preferably, control functions such as internal audit and compliance);

- in-depth knowledge of the European and Italian legal environment on UCITS, MiFID and AIFM; knowledge of Dutch legal environment would be a plus;

- in-depth knowledge of the European and Italian AML&CTF Regulation, Financial Sanctions and Anti Bribery & Corruption
