They are now looking to further expand their Nicosia team and are seeking for a Compliance Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to all legal standards as well as internal policies and procedures.
If you are an ambitious and highly committed individual looking for the next step in your career, please send us your CV today!MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentationCoordinating the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulationsApplying and interpreting audit and compliance requirements for various departmentsDesigning and coordinating the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirementsInteracting with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization's internal controlsEstablishing compliance monitoring programsFiling regulatory reports and other documentationCoordinating rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when requiredEvaluate the efficiency of controlsImprove current strategies if necessarySupervise and oversee the work of colleaguesCANDIDATE PROFILEBA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or similar related fieldPrevious working experience as a Compliance Officer of at least 3 years within professional service provider, accounting or law firm is a MUSTKnowledge and understanding of the industry's regulations and best practicesHands-on experience with a variety of reporting operations and proceduresAmbition to succeed, motivation, commitment, initiativeProfessional disciplineTeam working skills with value added contributionIT skills/ MS OfficeGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCritical-thinker and problem-solverFluent in Greek and English languageCOMPANY BENEFITSProvident fund (optional)Medical insurance (optional)21 days annual holidayTravelling allowanceAfternoon off every Friday throughout the yearCasual FridayFlexible working hoursTraining opportunities (on-the-job and scheduled)Due to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
