A few examples of your responsibilities Draft, implement, review, and optimize all of our internal policies to lower the risk of any legal breach by our company or a team member. Be the first responder in case of a compliance breach. Ensure an effective risk assessment and management process: identify potential risks, assess their likelihood and impact, develop customized mitigation plans, and track mitigation effectiveness. Draft and lead a SOX compliance program, overseeing internal control evaluations and testing to ensure adherence to regulations. Provide regular updates to senior management highlighting the effectiveness of the compliance program, risks, and trends. Train fellow Spooners on compliance-related topics. Engage with external stakeholders and regulatory authorities. What we look for Reasoning ability: solve complex problems, think from first principles, and identify important details.
