The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Composite Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design and development of high-performance composite components.

From conceptual studies and layout installations to the creation of patterns, moulds, tools, and jigs, you will be instrumental in driving cutting-edge design solutions.

In this role, you will: Lead the composite design process from initial concept to detailed development, ensuring integration of high-performance and innovative solutions.

Ensure all designed parts comply with technical regulations and are optimised for performance and reliability.

Utilise your expertise to develop lightweight, aerodynamically efficient, and structurally sound composite components.

Be responsible for final design sign-off within your group, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.

Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, manufacturing, and structural analysis teams to enhance design efficiency and reliability.

Provide mentorship to less experienced designers , fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Offer remote factory support during race and track events when required.

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have: A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering , or a related field.

Extensive experience in composite design , preferably in high-performance automotive or motorsport industries.

In-depth knowledge of composite materials , manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.

Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX , or similar.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

A flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
