Job ResponsibilitiesCo-manage network, telecommunication and local hosting environmentCo-create logical network designs, physical layouts of network and hosting infrastructureCo-create patching schedules of all wired & wireless network and on-prem hybrid hosting equipmentCo-create and implement security policies on firewallsProactive monitoring for network status & capacity monitoring (based on big data)Work with stakeholders to coordinate review and provide assurance of deliverablesParticipate in IT infrastructure operations & escalations to ensure network, telecommunication & hosting availability and performanceParticipate in IT infrastructure global & local projects coordination and executionWork with network, telecommunication, hybrid hosting and data cabling providers on different levels of operational issuesOn-call duty: availability after normal office hours in rotation with other colleagues to support high impact issues.

Physical interventions might happen occasionally if the issue cannot be resolved remotely.

Thus the requirement to be able to reach on-site in an hour. Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in information technology related field of study with a network / hosting engineering focusStrong understanding of IT infrastructure (network and hosting) hardwareExperience in IT technologies: Server, Virtualization (Hyper-V), Storage and Backup Solutions, Cloud Computing, Networks, TelecommunicationsExperience/Understanding of CISCO network (LAN, WLAN, WAN) infrastructure and SDN (Software Defined Network) - SD-WANExperience with implementation or management of network segregation (VLANs)Experience with operation of data-driven networksExperience with IT Service Management (ITIL methodology), SNOW experience is a plusUnderstanding of network security with security policy implementation (CISCO, Palo Alto)Knowledge with network management/automation tools, such as DNAKnowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocolsAbility to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resourcesAbility to create network and hosting diagrams and documentation, HLD, LLD and technical standardsAbility to think through problems and visualize solutionsExcellent communication skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally in global, matrixed environments comprising of internal and external partnersA self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environmentGood analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge in budget and project managementCCNA certification is preferred and any other networking, server, firewall certificates will be a plusOn-call duty experience and readinessLanguages: English C1 Proficient; local language C1 ProficientWhat's next:It's best to apply today, because job postings can be taken down and we wouldn't want you to miss this opportunity.
