The** Consolidation Specialist **actively contributes to preparation of MBE Group Consolidated Financial Statement, ensuring company's compliance with local laws and International Financial Reporting Standards.

The person will also be involved in the financial, accounting and administration aspects of MBE's process digitalisation and standardisation activities.

He/she will be based in Milan and will report to the VP Finance - FP&A

**Main responsibilities and tasks

- Keep Group Chart of accounts and Group Consolidation System updated

- Manage consolidation procedures, including the preparation of consolidated journal entries and the intercompany matching process

- Prepare/validate IFRS entries for the whole Group companies

- Draft the Group annual consolidated financial statements and related disclosure in accordance with IFRS accounting principles

- Analyse changes in Group accounting policies, including assessment of new accounting standards

- Periodically review reporting packages prepared by local teams

- Manage relationship with external auditors for ordinary requests

- Support the Corporate team in the analysis of key consolidated performance indicators and in preparing the Board presentation

- Support preparation of Group transfer pricing documentation

**Skills and experiences**:

- University degree in Economics/Business Administration

- Strong knowledge of Italian Local GAAP and IFRS accounting standards

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting - with deep knowledge of IAS/IFRS GAAP - obtained in a multinational group or in an audit firm

- Excellent mastery of written and spoken English is a prerequisite

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel)

- Knowledge of ERP systems and Consolidation tools (working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Infor is a plus)

- Strong numerical, analytical and conceptual skills

- Structured approach, process oriented, attentive to details and ability to prioritize.

- Solid communication skills, ambitious and able to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners
