Construction Hse Manager

It is an essential requisite the availability to spend construction projects period abroad. Activity & Main Responsibilities The HSE Manager is appointed for major projects and in case of Consortium or ATI.
He reports to the Site Manager and takes under his control the following duties:
Support and monitor the implementation of the Tecnimont HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site. Perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, preparing any revisions as necessary. Update the HSE documentation during all construction phases when deemed necessary. Check that subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards, promoting necessary actions to ensure compliance. Organize, plan, and participate in periodic HSE walkarounds, inspections, and audits on site; prepare relevant reports and action plans, and verify timely execution of corrective actions. Organize and coordinate HSE training activities on site. Organize and participate in all relevant site HSE meetings. Cooperate with the Client concerning the issuance of any necessary work permits. In case of work accidents, organize a full investigation of the event to identify corrective measures to avoid reoccurrence. Keep accident records and identify areas for prevention. Promote indoctrination and training of personnel. Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Committee (composed of all Contractor and Subcontractors HSE Representatives). Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities. Prepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodic reports. Prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verify performance against Project and corporate HSE Objectives, Targets, and performance indicators; propose recovery plans in case of mismatch. Knowledge & Qualifications Your skills are:
The ideal candidate must possess an undergraduate degree in either Construction Management or a relevant Engineering discipline. Minimum 8 years experience in Construction and Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry involving heavy construction sites with mechanical, electrical, and piping installation.
