Construction Hvac Supervisor

Position: HVAC Supervisor (Civil)
The HVAC Supervisor (Civil) directs Subcontractor activities for own discipline, ensuring that Plant Construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and Project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality & Safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assures that the maintenance works for HVAC equipment are completed in accordance with the schedule;Schedules the HVAC system's installation;Prior to the start of works, checks the Supplier's material and technical documentation delivery schedule, ensuring alignment with Construction schedules and contractual commitments;Controls and approves the Method Statements submitted by the Subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field;Ensures the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities;Directly participates in the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures;Checks that the schedule is adhered to, and promotes actions to recover any delays;Checks that the equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and the Quality level fixed;Performs inspections and signs necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans;Prepares the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and coordinates nonconformity resolution;Detects any design errors and rectifies them or requests the Site Engineer to make necessary changes;Checks Subcontractors' work progress status sheets and signs for approval;Assists the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontracts, and analyzing and discussing claims. Knowledge & Qualifications: University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent. Experience: Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of large Petrochemical plants/EPC projects;Strong subcontractor and construction/commissioning management experience in EPC projects, Large/XL plants;Minimum 5 years' experience in the specific discipline;Similar role covered in last three projects of comparable size;Experience working on Contractor side. Skills and Abilities: Excellent IT and analytical skills;Excellent communication, team-oriented, and interpersonal skills;Self-motivated and directed, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
