**Posizione**:
- NHOA Energy is NHOA Group's business unit that designs and delivers turn-key, utility scale Energy Storage Systems. Listed by BloombergNEF between the Tier1 Global Energy Storage Suppliers list, NHOA operates in 5 continents and has 2GWh of projects in operation and construction. - We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Milan, to manage and oversee the construction and installation activities related to the preparation of proposal for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of NHOA's Energy Storage Systems in the EMEA region. The Pre-Construction Manager will be involved in all phases of proposal development up to project award and will handover the project to the execution team once the contract is signed. The role also requires involvement with projects in execution whenever required, in support of the Project Managers and Site Managers. _
- Direct report to the Vice President EMEA, he/she will be part of a global construction team, with a functional report to the Head of Construction Management, based in Milan, Italy_
**Tasks and Duties
- Define the construction management plan and site logistic requirements during the tendering stage, ensuring alignment with project goals and identifying key construction risks including relevant mitigation strategies. _
- _Scout with Procurement Team suitable construction/general contractors in the market (mapping of partners), on a continuous rolling base (out of tendering stage)_
- _Lead and manage the construction/general contractors (GCO) selection, validation & partnership process, with support from the Business Development team and TechSales Manager. _
- _Lead and prepare the tender package for GCOs and manage the tendering process in coordination with the Procurement Team and with the assistance of Tendering Team. _
- _Prepare Technical Evaluation Analysis required for GCO tendering process, detecting and minimizing all possible criticalities, risks and deviations from the NHOA's Customer contract. _
- _Negotiate contracts with GCOs, supported by the Legal team and in coordination with Procurement Team and BDM, to ensure mínimal risks for NHOA and a back-to-back approach on GCO contracts. _
- _Estimate budgets for construction and installation activities. _
- _Support BDM and Tendering Team in contract negotiations with the Customer and monitor critical contract risks from a construction and execution perspective. _
- _Conduct site visits and preliminary site activities including the management of site surveys during the tendering stage, if needed. _
- _Define the construction and installation schedule integrating GCO's inputs and ensuring consistency with NHOA's proposed master project schedule. _
- _Manage and oversee the handover of the construction plan to the Execution Team at the beginning of the execution phase, including PMs and Site Managers. _
- _During execution stage, support PMs and Project Engineers to manage claims and request for variations related to site activities, if any. _
- _Contribute to the continuous improvements of construction management process. _
**Requisiti**:
**Technical Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering & technology. _
- _Minimum 5 years' experience in this role. _
- _Understanding of EPC contracts, engineering specifications, and project management concepts. _
- _Experience negotiating complex construction contracts and leading negotiations on major procurement projects with external parties. _
- _Knowledge of project management software. _
- _Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements in the workplace, and how to monitor/reduce HSE risk. _
- _Knowledge of international standard codes. _
- _Willingness to travel for work and business trips. _
- _Strong communication skills both in English and Italian- Nice to have (if any):_
- _Knowledge of a third language_
