Construction Manager
SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.
**Posizione**:
Sicim is looking for a Project Manager for one of our upcoming projects in **Iraq.
The Construction Manager, reporting directly to the PM, manages and organizes all the production activities required for delivering to the Client, within the scheduled timeframe and at the estimated costs, products reaching the quality standards dictated by SICIM.
The Construction Manager will be responsible for:
- planning and programming the production activities in detail, putting into practice the works planning and programming developed by the PM, so as to maintain the delivery schedule;
- enforcing the operational procedures applicable to the various process phases;
- arranging suitable initiatives, on the basis of the PM's instructions, to ensure that the production personnel are sufficiently trained to be able to carry out their work guaranteeing a constant level of efficacy;
- placing all the means and documents required to obtain a product in compliance with specifications at the disposal of the production personnel;
- taking part, in the event of Non-Conformities, in the determining of the corrective actions, implementing those within his own competence;
- keeping the environments and production equipment at high levels of efficiency and cleanliness so as not to compromise the performance of the operators and the quality of the product;
- having the controls laid down and essential for maintaining a constantly acceptable level of quality duly carried out on the basis of the Quality Plans.
**Requisiti**:
- A bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of twenty (20) years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry, including successful construction of production / process facilities.
- At least ten (10) years of experience as a Construction Manager, on at least one EPC project with a TIC of>$100M.
- Experience in the Middle East, especially Iraq or another heavily regulated country.
- Must be familiar with latest construction methods, modern project and construction management techniques, HSE and environmental best
- practices. Requires specific knowledge in coordinating contract packages, constructability review, site plan management, tracking construction progress.
- Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
