Construction Manager - International Project (f/m/d) Company: Jacobs Location: Cologno Monzese, All IT Regions, Italy Capabilities: Construction Office Setup: Hybrid Job ID: 21324 Market: Advanced Manufacturing Your Impact: The Construction Manager reports to the Jacobs Project Director or the Project Manager and has full authority for the execution of the construction operations at the job site.

The Construction Manager is the primary interface of all contractors and vendors relating to the construction of the facility, focusing on project delivery, safety, and quality.

Scope of Responsibilities: Become a promoter of initiatives and programs regarding health and safety in the workplace, collaborating closely with the Jacobs HSE manager.

Collaborate with the Quality JI Department in the development and verification of specific procedures for the CM Department.

Participate in the periodical Operational Project Reviews (OPR) and all project review sessions.

Verify and develop "Pre-construction Planning" activities during different phases of project development.

Prepare necessary constructability reviews of the scope of work and identify problems, conflicts, and impediments.

Support Project Managers and Schedulers in the development of project schedules.

Manage construction site personnel in accordance with HRE Discipline.

Monitor and expedite the performance of the site team, identifying preventive or corrective actions.

Supervise and manage all aspects of field and construction operations.

Ensure timely completion of all critical construction activities.

Ensure field services personnel are trained and compliant with procedures.

Cooperate with the Cost Engineer for periodic updates of the TIC report.

Administer changes to the contract scope of work.

Resolve Requests for Information promptly.

Ensure contractor compliance with project technical requirements.

Verify contractor compliance with 'as-built' requirements.

Perform M/C punch list activities to ensure installation meets requirements.

Lead site coordination meetings and attend safety coordination meetings with contractors.

Participate in implementing field inspection and testing plans.

Provide final checks of Field Variation Orders.

Minimum Requirements: 10+ years of experience as a field Construction Manager (preferably in Pharmaceutical or Electronics projects).

Availability to work on-site in central Belgium.

Strong knowledge across all project disciplines.

Safety Management/Supervisor certification is an advantage.

Ability to evaluate project criticality and construction strategy.

Ability to manage constructability reviews with clients and contractors.

Ability to run complex meetings with multiple constituents.

Proficient in computer skills (Office tools, 3D navigator - Navisworks, scheduling software).

Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience with systems mechanical completion, testing, and commissioning.

Fluency in English.
