Construction Package Manager

In this role you will:
Assist in the delivery of a substantial project. Contribute to key meetings to monitor progress and collaborate on solving problems. Attend key meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems, and communicate impacts to partners. Implement project procedures and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that this procedure is always observed. Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions. Be a visible participant onsite, assessing progress and ensuring safe work practices. Produce weekly action plans for critical activities and chase with all stakeholders until completion of critical activities. Review proposed variations and delays in the works. Coordinate with the client team, consultant team, and the contractor on all snagging activities, including the schedule and partner engagement. Health & Safety: Implement and enforce safety procedures, conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Project Coordination: Oversee contractor underground services installation operations on-site, providing oversight such that works follow project specifications, schedules, and safety standards. Quality Control: Oversee contractor follow-through inspection and monitoring of the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, approvals, and project requirements. Problem-Solving & Reporting: Address on-site challenges, such as equipment malfunctions or unexpected site conditions, and provide regular progress reports to project managers, including updates on timelines, budgets, and resources. Have project management experience with a focus on MEP. Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
