Head of Renewables - Renewable Energy & HV Infrastructure l Recruitment - Perm, Contract & Exec Search Solar Construction Project Manager - 12-month contract (potential to be much longer) Italy: travel to sites biweekly; travel to the office in Milan monthly.

Must be fully literate in both Italian and English MDE is recruiting a "Project Interface Manager" to oversee the delivery of multiple solar PV projects, totalling 90 MW, in Italy on behalf of a major international renewable energy builder and operator.

They have a pipeline of solar & BESS in excess of 2GW across Europe.

You will be contracted to the client's SPV through MDE Group; therefore, you must have your own business capable of providing contracting services, including correct insurances.

This role is working as the project manager on behalf of the project owner.

You will interface between the project owner, investors, and EPCs and BOPs.

This position is suitable for someone who has overseen the delivery of solar PV assets across the Italian market and has experience of managing project schedules, finances, health, safety and quality and reporting to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities: Act as the primary interface between project owners, investors, EPCs, and BoPs.

Manage project schedules, ensuring timely milestones and completion.

Monitor project finances, budgets, and cost control measures.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards on-site.

Provide regular reports and updates to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency.

Coordinate with various teams to resolve challenges and maintain project progress.

Leverage experience in solar PV project delivery to meet stakeholder expectations.

Who we are looking for: Hold a degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.

Proven experience in delivering solar projects within Italy inexcess of 40mW.

Willingness to commute to projects in southern Italy as needed.

Ability to produce high-quality financial and technical reports for investors and lenders.

Flexible to visit the company's Milan office periodically during project delivery.

Understands the role is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance.
