Your New Role: What's Involved? Conduct environmental audits and inspections, providing on-site support and guidance to contractors to ensure compliance with the project's environmental requirements. Prepare environmental monitoring and audit reports. Regularly review and update the environmental management system, proposing corrective actions where necessary. Oversee the implementation of environmental management systems to ensure alignment with project goals. Review and approve Construction and Social Environmental Management Plans (CESMPs), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) reports, and other relevant environmental studies. Carry out environmental reconnaissance surveys and pre-construction site assessments. Review and analyze weekly and monthly environmental reports submitted by contractors. Report on environmental incidents on-site, including conducting investigations, preparing reports, and following up on corrective actions and plans. Develop and implement a project-specific communication strategy for environmental matters. Organize and execute environmental awareness campaigns and deliver necessary environmental training. Review CVs and participate in interviews to evaluate and approve candidates for environmental and sustainability roles within the project. We'd Love to Hear from You if You Have:Educational Background:BSc and MSc degrees in a relevant environmental or engineering discipline. Experience:5-10 years of experience in environmental supervision. Extensive experience with environmental management systems, preferably ISO 14001 certified. Proven ability to provide technical alternatives, solutions, and clarifications to clients. Significant experience in proofing, editing, and report collation. Skills and Attributes:Ability to work across multiple disciplines with a flexible and adaptable mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong project management, time management, and client relationship management capabilities. A collaborative, outcome-driven approach to work. Additional Requirements:Proof of receiving three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
