The Consulting Account Director position plays a leading role in working with the local markets and teams setting the account vision with the Account Executive and Core Account Team, driving customer relationship rhythms and leveraging Microsoft Consulting go-to-market scenarios by orchestrating the larger strategic deals.
This role identifies, qualifies, and closes strategic industry cloud opportunities, orchestrating the consulting-sales relationship with the core account team and wider Microsoft business.

Responsibilities Strategy and Planning Lead the account vision and strategic approach with the Account Executive and Core Account Team against specific targeted deals, providing insights and recommendations to address customer priorities and Microsoft objectives with close alignment to the wider Microsoft business. Ensuring a single voice into the customer by driving an agreement on consulting and partner strategy, leveraging tools and methodologies for digital transformation outcomes of the customer needs against both the customer and Microsoft priorities. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners across different markets and geographies. Lead effective communication rhythms with stakeholders both external and internal. Strengthen relationships with Microsoft teams and leverage customer engagement insights to leverage the corporation growth strategy. Accelerate Cloud Growth Stay updated on customer business priorities and industry trends creating POV's and insights relevant with C-Suite discussions. Capable of leading conversations about Microsoft Cloud adoption and articulate ROI for the clients. Build relationships with CXO-level executives and educate them on how this aligns to their own business priorities dove tailed into Microsoft's own value proposition. Lead transformational deals whilst providing knowledge transfer and skills growth in the local markets prioritising on customer value to both the client and the Microsoft corporation to support the acceleration of consumption. Account Team Orchestration Coordinate consulting-sales relationships with the core account team. Ensure successful creation and execution of strategic deal and close plan. Influence and collaborate with various teams to ensure customer success. Share insights and good practices with peers. Deal Excellence Confirm Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline (BANT) information for leads, support the local markets to secure pre-sales investment whether local or WW, shaping opportunities into compelling propositions. Build and execute close plans for qualified opportunities, maintain accurate sales stage and forecast recommendations. Drive discussions of terms and conditions with executive-level stakeholders and oversee contract signing. Ensure smooth transition to delivery and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the process. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications A number of years consulting solution sales experienceExamples of deal and people leadership through successful and timely executionBachelor's Degree AND extensive and proven industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e. g.
Finance, Local Government) or related work OR extensive and proven industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e. g.
Finance, Local Government) with experience managing team(s)/business unit(s) OR equivalent experience. You must be currently residing in and be legally authorised to work in either the UK, France, Netherlands or Italy to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
