You will be based in Electrolux Food Preservation site in Susegana (TV) only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4. 0 investment.

Here you will work together with nearly 1400 colleagues from different functions, and various nationalities, with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.

We are looking for a Laboratory Leader for our R&D Food Preservation organization in Europe.

She/he will drive a team responsible for all experimental activities related to the development of domestic refrigerators, coordinating a team of engineers and technicians, planning the activities according Electrolux Product Development needs and availability of resources.

Your main tasks:

- Create and maintain the plan of the different activities under her/his responsibility, providing regular reports and status of running activities.

- Execute the laboratory plan in respect of cost, timing and deliverables.

- Develop and update test manuals and best practices involving different disciplines in a Multiphysics approach.

- Implement 6-sigma methodologies (DOE), and other optimization and statistical tools.

- Lead and develop an external network of universities, research institutes and suppliers.

- Closely interact with all R&D functions to ensure a seamless delivery of the projects

Qualifications:

- Energetic/Thermodynamic/Mechanical Engineering Degree (MsC) or equivalent background

- PhD will be considered a plus

- Consolidated experience R&D or Quality laboratories.

- Proven managerial capabilities in the usage of planning tools, reports, budgets and team management.

- Expertise on statistics, DOE, optimization and quality tools

- Project management

- Proficient with office IT and planning tools
