THE ROLE Our Maka team is expanding, and we are looking for a Content & Localization Project Manager Intern in our Milan office.

In this role, you will be an important member of our Language Services Team, and you will participate in various steps of language management for diverse business projects, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of technology-driven language solutions.

Please note that proficiency in English at a C1 level or equivalent is essential for this role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Receive, manage, track, and deliver multilingual content & localization projectsContribute to AI and MT processes and trainingAnalyze client requests and requirements, create briefs & allocate workloadsMeet with teams regularly for training, review, and status updatesPrioritize and schedule translation assignments, set up workflows, and manage processesManage projects in accordance with strict QAReview original copy, translations, and transcreations for quality against briefIdentify areas of improvement in processes and servicesIdentify new business development opportunitiesBring your skills, motivation, and curiosity to the tableQuality Control Conduct quality control on generative texts to uphold linguistic excellence and accuracyMaintain a keen eye for detail to ensure outputs align with established standardsTerminology Management Maintain and align glossaries, term bases, and style guides to support consistent linguistic outputAI/MT QA Perform quality assurance on AI/MT content to enhance overall translation qualityCollaborate with the team to implement improvements based on feedback and evaluationVendor Management Evaluate and select new vendors involved in language-related projectsBuild and maintain positive relationships with external vendorsCollaborate with vendors to ensure seamless communication and project coordinationMUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in English (C1 level or equivalent) to deal with international clients and colleaguesTech-savvy and tech curiousUniversity DegreeExcellent linguistic and numeracy skillsExcellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of CAT/AI/MT tools and projectsAbility to multitask, set priorities, and coordinate projectsHighly organized and detail-orientedProactive decision-making and problem-solving skillsStrong time management skillsPersonal growth and career orientedNICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in a language other than English and ItalianOverseas work or study experienceMulticultural backgroundDiversity and Inclusion Maka is an equal-opportunity employer.
