**Mission of the Role

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated

- **Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Operations Team in HQ (Italy - Cesena) and, as a second step, our team in the Production Plant in Slovakia**.

The resource, together with his team, will take care of the management of continuous improvement and problem solving projects, aiming at improving production efficiency and identifying effective measures to increase the value for our customers.

He/She will be in charge of improving Plant standards, contributing to the preparation of training modules and supporting team leaders in delivering the correct technical training to line operators.

Together with other business areas (R&D, T&M, QA, etc. )

he/she will have the task of optimizing and monitoring production processes and cycles, quality and technological standards while guaranteeing the safety standards of our production process.

**Key Role Responsibilities

- Determine and define project scope and targets

- Estimate and efficiently manage the necessary resources to reach the objectives

- Prepare relevant budgets based on the scope of the project and resource requirements

- Track project costs in order to meet the agreed budget

- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

- Provide stakeholder with project updates on a consistent basis (e. g.

strategy, adjustment, progress)

- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

- Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout the entire project execution

- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

- Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement

- Ensuring compliance with HSE policy

- Management of Problem Solving activities (6s, Kaizen, etc. . . ) related to production, internal logistics, engineering, maintenance and quality area

- Management of continuous improvement activities logistics, production, engineering, maintenance and quality area.

- Management of line balances together with team leaders based on productivity needs, available resources and specific process criticalities.

- Organization of training sessions (quality assurance, times and methods and balancing of lines) and generation, standardization and improvement of training modules.

- Evaluate the projects and resources needed to promote Continuous Improvement activities.

- Ensure that occupational safety and ergonomics standards are met through the validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, masks etc.

- Participate in process audits.

- Management and improvement quality control standards.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in mechanical or management engineering with a course of study focused on production and logistics.

- Even short experience (1-2 years) in a similar role or in manufacturing, production, times and methods or logist

- Knowledge of production processes and assembly processes.

- Knowledge of logistics fundamentals on procurement techniques and flow management (Kanban, reordering, locations, . . . )

- Orientation to achieve objectives.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Ability to team work.

- Excellent computer skills.

- Fluent in Italian and English.

- Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus.
