Role description**:

The Contract and Legal Claim Manager will become part of the Claim Department.

He/she will be assigned, among other things, to provide vital assistance to project teams working worldwide with contractual and legal advice and drafting of critical correspondence, change orders and claims.

**Key Activities & Responsibilities**:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- With the support of the project teams collecting and analyzing information and gathering appropriate argumentation and evidence for drafting claims/changes/rebuttals;

- Assisting the Contract Manager/Subcontract Administration Manager/Material Supply Manager and project team members in the context of executive projects in defining and preparing the legal and contractual aspects of critical correspondence with Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers;

- Developing legal research and analysis concerning a variety of legal issues;

- Cooperate with the Legal Affairs and Contracts Department in the selection and management of any external lawyers needed to prepare legal opinions;

- Interface effectively with project teams.

**Educational Background, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Laws in Italy;

- Minimum 3 years of experience

Experience in construction law and claim preparation will be considered as a plus;

- Fluent English speaker and writer;

- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills;

- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook;

- Availability to travel abroad;

- Team-working skills;

- Flexibility and desire to get involved;

- Self-motivated achiever;

- Excellent communication skills;

- Good time-management skills.
