We are currently seeking a Contract Engineer Junior reporting directly to Head of Contract Management to join our Legal & Contracts team based in Rome, Italy.

About the mission we offer you:
The Contract Engineer's duties and responsibilities are to provide appropriate support and guidance to the Project Manager and leadership within the Project team in the management and administration of the contract, consistently with the relevant policies, standards, and processes.
Main accountabilities of the Contract Engineer Junior are: Prepares and consolidates analysis of contract conditions, contract issues, client needs, as well as contractual risks and opportunities. Liaise and obtain when required legal expertise from the Legal Team (corporate, compliance, litigation, general legal advice) and with other functions (treasury, tax, insurance, etc. )
with the purpose of providing to the Project a comprehensive set of legal and contractual services. Initiate and coordinate the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of change orders and claims (EOTs, Acceleration, delays, etc). Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Starting Date: March 2025

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:
Qualifications: Engineering Master Degree.
Up to 3 years experience, preferably in large Oil & Gas or Infrastructure EPC with an international company. Effective written and verbal communication in English is a must. Main skills: Capacity to communicate effectively (oral and written). Attitude to work in a team and in an international environment. Hands-on knowledge in basic schedule analysis methodologies. Hands-on knowledge in basic cost control analysis methodologies. Available to travel in Italy and abroad for long periods. Open mindedness. Goals work approach. Key Interactions: Internally: coordinate with and advise departments involved in the projects.
Externally: coordinate with clients and other stakeholders.
