We are looking for a highly motivated Contract Logistics Flow Planner to join us in our Mantua warehouse.

We are creating a 130, 000 sqm state-of-the-art, fully automated warehouse that will handle logistics services for our client adidas and serve 19 countries across Eastern and Southern Europe.

Be part of this exciting journey in Kuehne+Nagel logistics by applying now!Your RoleAs a Flow Planner, you will be part of the Operations team, responsible for warehouse goods planning (outbound/inbound) to satisfy customers' needs and requests.

You will constantly interact with Operations Manager/Shift Leaders and Automation Controllers to adapt goods planning to the day-to-day warehouse workflow capacity while keeping in mind the peculiarities of every specific department's area. Your ResponsibilitiesPlanning the sequence of the workload considering customer SLAs, cut-off times, and process times.

Balancing and optimizing productivity to guarantee an efficient workflow and avoid creating bottlenecks or other discomfort situations. Constantly checking the scheduled plan to identify potential issues and deviations, taking corrective measures to ensure SLAs and cut-off times in close collaboration with the Operation and Control room. Development and implementation of statistical metrics to schedule and draw up warehouse planning forecasts in consultation with the floor supervisor. Enforcing the communication of information by using specific easy-to-understand dashboards to guarantee clear visibility of the past, current, and future goods planning status. Building a deep and efficient relationship with the shop floor to adapt and manipulate warehouse planning according to continuous changes requested by the customer. Creating direct and true daily interaction with other departments within Kuehne + Nagel, such as customer service & transport planning, to develop the most efficient planning strategy and adapt it to the current priorities of the customer. Identifying, promoting, and improving efficient communication schemes to inform Operations about warehouse goods planning and potential variations to frequently set up and adapt the warehouse workflow. Your Skills and Experiences2 – 5 years of planning experience in large scale (>300FTE) highly automated fulfillment operations, with strong preference given to eCommerce / Fashion / Retail field, preferably in multinational companies with a matrix organizational structure. Accumulated wisdom about metrics and data analysis related to goods planning as practice with software and/or ERPs. Exposure to dashboard data representations to create easy-to-understand ways to communicate information to different stakeholders. Familiarity with fast-paced work environments with a high level of planning variations characterized by frequent interactions with customers and/or stakeholders.
