Contract Management - Intern page is loaded Contract Management - Intern Presenta candidatura locations Milan, IT time type Full time posted on Offerta pubblicata 4 giorni fa job requisition id R-19476 OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:Cooperate with the Contract Manager coordinator in addressing contractual aspects arising during projects execution phase, in liaison with the Project Director / Manager and project team, with the objective of reducing risks while maximizing project revenues. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESContracts analysis, interpretation and summary. Mapping of all relevant project and contract data in conjunction with other functions. Collecting and verifying contractual documentation. Implementing and maintaining dedicated project database and governance tools (e. g.
claim and VO register.
). Assisting in the implementation of new contract management tools and processesCooperate with the Contract Manager coordinator in the following tasks:Managing the contract lifecycle during project execution phase, including but not limited to drafting and reviewing contract amendments. Providing guidance and interpretation on contractual provisions. Supporting change management process.
This includes drafting and evaluating change orders, claims, back-charges and penalties, defence of incoming claims vis-a-vis customers, subcontractors and key vendors. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters. Safeguarding contractual obligations including the tracking and timely issuance of notifications in cooperation with the project team. Focal point for promoting awareness on contracts provisions.
Prepare contract review, issue reports and assessments, hold contract induction meetings. Assisting Purchasing team in the negotiation of subcontracts, purchase agreement, contractual correspondence and in the management of claims litigations with subcontractors and vendors. Cooperating and liaising with corporate functions, e. g.
finance, compliance, IP, on specific matters and possible disputes. Monitoring, drafting and reviewing all contractual correspondence between Prysmian and its customers, joint ventures and consortium partners. Verifying, in conjunction with dedicated departments, that all insurances and bank guarantees required by the Contract and subcontracts are placed and maintained. Act as a game changer in the way Contract Management is performed during execution phase QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Degree in law Key Competences :Proficient knowledge of English languageKnowledge of additional foreign language, in particular German or French, preferred.
