**For this position, you will need to be located in Italy, any locations in Italy will be accepted

This role is operating as a "Self-Employed Contractor " and you will be covering work as a Food Safety Auditor in Italy.

You will be responsible for delivering non accredited food safety audits, assessments and inspections for the Retail & Hospitality Team.

This is for specific audits covering Hospitality, Retail and Manufacturing as required by our client in Italy.

You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers' specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.

Through providing effective support you will be responsible for:

- Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.

- Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.

- To complete environmental audits, which will include food safety but can also include health & safety and fire safety audits, in accordance with legal and client driven requirements in line with specific country codes.

- To complete audit reports immediately after audit and to submit on the day of the audit.

- Ensure any errors on the reports are corrected and updated when requested within 12 hours of the request.

- To keep your Line Manager or Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.

- Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, the line manager or senior team as required.

- To maintain Continous Personal Development (CPD) and take on additional training as required when new clients are onboarded.

- Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business and provide your own laptop or tablet for this work.

This is not an employed position but that of "Self-Employed Contractor ".
