Contracts Engineer - Temp (1 Year)
This is a key role to provide exemplary levels of service to our customers by managing orders from receipt through to delivery. Work with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure the customers' requirements are met in full. Ensure that the customer is kept always updated on order developments while managing any issues in a proactive manner. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, in this role you will build strong relationships with customers and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are followed. You will provide attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, approach challenges with a proactive mindset, and find solutions to problems. In this role, you will identify and use price lists to provide customers with accurate pricing and lead-time, identify and resolve order queries with customers, and ensure that their requirements are correctly interpreted and fully understood. Liaise and use negotiation skills with both customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements. Work with the other team members for all technical matters. You will work with the Quality department to resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution. This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, the ability to approach challenges with a proactive mindset, and find solutions to problems. Good communication skills, customer focus, the ability to multitask, and good execution of tasks are essential. Experience Requirements: Experience in customer-facing roles Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Sound PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook The Successful Candidate: Demonstrates the ability to work in stressful situations with difficult clients who are focused on an expeditious resolution. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met in full.
