We look forward to getting to know you. Your contribution to the energy transitionAs our Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for contract planning and administration of solar PV EPC projects in Italy.
The position focuses on EPC Subcontract administration.
Reporting to the Project Manager(s), the Contracts Manager will support Supply Chain Manager(s), Project Controller(s), Engineer(s), and Construction Manager(s) as requested.
Occasional travel may be required in line with business requirements.
Presence in the office is required 3-5 days per week. You can look forward to the following tasks:Contract planning:Initial team stakeholder engagement, supporting document criteria, communication, and presentationsEstablish and maintain the contract folder structure for draft contracts and schedulesTrack and compare changes and control contract and schedule revisionsStyle and formatting for clean execution versions for circulation, prepare contracts for signatureContract execution obligations:Establish and maintain the contract management folder structure relating to executed contractsParticipation in Project Team meetings and updatesIdentification of Contract risks and opportunities, deviations, and deficienciesConsultation with the Project Managers on corrective actions and potential mitigationsDay-to-day administration and monitoring of the EPC contract to facilitate compliance with notices, obligations, and deliverables required from the project teamDay-to-day administration and monitoring of major subcontractor supplier contracts to facilitate compliance with requirementsDrafting of agreements, approvals, certificates, consents, determinations, notices, requests, and compile supporting documentation for Project Managers' review and approvalPrepare contracts for signature by organizing signature by authorized signatory and/or Notary/Apostille requirementsPrint hard copies, sort, scan, and compile for Project LibraryCompilation, establishment, and tracking of the EPC Contract and associated project documents' Hold Points registerEstablish, populate, track, and update the contractual communication registersCompile and maintain templates for contractual letters, notifications, and other deliverablesEnsure contract deliverables are received by the Client and/or relevant stakeholders in a timely mannerAssist the project administrator in fulfilling the requirements for the compilation of monthly reports and other approved formsIn conjunction with the Quality Representative and the Project Manager, establish and coordinate workshops related to contract obligation process descriptionsPoint of contact to advise and guide the project team on contractual implicationsEstablish, administer, and maintain the insurance claim process and compile templates as requiredYour energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications:Contract Management / Administration qualificationExperience of working within a project, engineering, and construction environmentMinimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, at a comparable levelFluency in Italian and EnglishDemonstrable ability to work in matrix organizations and to operate in a culturally diverse international environmentAn understanding of the requirements and implications of EPC projectsConversant with contract management and standard (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.
)/proprietary contract formsProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to take initiative and organize effectivelyAble to prioritize own workload and work independently under pressureTeam playerProblem-solving skillsDetail-orientedProcess-drivenYou have more to offer?
