Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within the Group Strategic Planning Monitoring & Control-Unit DACH team we are looking for a Controller that will the main activities related to the collection / analysis / reporting of monthly, actuals and forecast/plan data.

The job holder will be involved in the following activities of data collection, data preparation and analysis:

- Monthly analysis of Country selected KPI's and performances

- Quarterly technical and financial analysis of the Country performance in order to support the actual closing process

- Management of the Forecast and Planning process

- Setting the target of the country

- Monitoring of the actual KPI's in comparison with Budget and assessment of target achievements

- Ad hoc analysis on the country, for several Group stakeholders

- Coordinate and support the preparation / discussion in the context of Clearance and BSR meetings

Must have

- Academic background in Economics, Finance, Actuarial, Engineering

- Understanding of insurance business

- Understanding of BS and P&L metrics.

IFRS17 knowledge is a plus

- 5-10 years of experience in finance area (controlling, accounting, actuarial)

- Working knowledge of primary IT programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

)
