Burger King Restaurants Italia(part of the group QSRP (Quick Service Restaurant Platform), is looking for aControlling Managerready to take on the challenge to lead the Controlling team within the Finance Department.

Mission:TheControlling Manager, supported by the dedicated team and reporting to the Finance Director, is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis to drive optimal business profitability.
This role is pivotal in supporting strategic decision-making by providing detailed financial reports and offering data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
Main responsabilities:Financial Controlling & Analysis:Develop and implement controlling processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Conduct variance analysis on sales, costs, margins, and profitability.
Provide financial forecasts, budget control, and cost optimization strategies.
Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with different departments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts to guide business decisions.
Track budget adherence and provide recommendations for adjustments when needed.
Cost Control & Efficiency Optimization:Analyze cost structures, operational expenses, and inventory management to maximize efficiency.
Develop KPIs to track performance and optimize cost-saving initiatives.
Reporting & Business Partnering:Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Act as a business partner to operations, sales, and marketing teams, providing financial insights.
Support decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis and risk assessment.
Compliance & Process Improvement:Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Identify and implement process improvements for financial reporting and cost management.
Develop tools and dashboards to enhance data visualization and decision-making.
Main requirements:Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Business Engineering, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in the food retail or FMCG sector.
Strong proficiency in financial planning software (SAP, Oracle, etc. )
and Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to non-financial teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of cost management and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of food retail industry trends, pricing strategies, and supply chain finance is a plus.
Fluency in English (C1) Ability to embrace new challenges in fast changing environment Good communication skills, ability to connect with multiple stakeholders across different departments and countries/cultures Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve goals and drive performance.
