In this role, you will be a part of the Merchant Solutions Finance team.

A talented and diverse team, focused on delivering business insights and value to our business partners, through insightful analytics and reporting, built on a basis of high quality controlling, reporting and compliance.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be: Functional lead on all CAPEX and Project Controlling within Merchant Solutions for the region Italy Drive systematic CAPEX management, processes, and definitions across Merchant Solutions Ensure business cases and accounting memos at high quality in place and maintained for all capitalized development projects Method and process for accepting incremental spend or projects (demand management) Timely and correct spend recognition and capitalization to full potential for development projects Ongoing and timely documentation of CAPEX projects and activities in line with Nexi policies Support budget and forecast processes with CAPEX templates and strategic insights Facilitate and drive improvements on month end closings with robust reporting, analytics, and narratives Implement processes, policies, governance, and tools to create sustainable CAPEX management in Merchant Solutions and drive ongoing enhancements of existing processes through technical improvements (e. g.

process automations) Oversee correct accounting treatment and global spend taxonomy on all CAPEX spend What makes you the best person for this job?

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role: Degree in finance or accounting and at least 5 years of experience within finance & accounting You have in-depth working experience with project controlling, ideally with software development projects in agile methodology You have expert understanding of accounting principles and IFRS Reporting You have strong skills in process documentation and improvements You have strong influencing and networking skills to help build and foster existing relationships with business areas & Group Accounting You have the ability and familiarity to leverage data programs such as SAP/SAS and Microsoft suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills) You communicate fluently in English (oral and written) You have an ability and eagerness to take leadership of complex tasks or processes requiring coordination of several individuals or functions You are a strong team player, demonstrating leadership & integrity Apply now!
