Converting Software Designer

Key Responsibilities Design software systems for our converting roll machinery within Operations Department. Work on the execution of plant projects collaborating with other functions involved in manufacturing process and with external suppliers. Analyze customers' requests understanding the quality requirements for projects, identifying the risks and implementing the processes to achieve the objectives. Collaborate with the team of software technicians to reach the best technical solution in line with the scheduled time. Collaborate with Standard Team to carry out engineering procedures, techniques and sequences to achieve quality and productivity. Prepare reports and documentation about machinery software and work progress. Apply the technical solutions for safety according to standard basic projects proposed by Standard Office. Provide support to commissioning technicians for specific machine problems or interventions. Collaborate with customers in design reviews for the verification of the project and visit clients' site for any intervention, if needed. To succeed in this role you should have Diploma or Degree in Electronic / Automation Engineering, Information Technology. Knowledge of PLC, Safety system, HMI, Drive and Motion Control programming (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Rockwell RSLogix5000). Knowledge of Visual Basic, SCL, and Java is highly appreciated. General knowledge about mechanical and fluidic systems. Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP. Italian knowledge is mandatory. Fluency in written and spoken English.
