Your field of responsibility

The trainee will be part of the Italy Business Management team within Asset Management Division.

The team coordinates the daily operating activities between Portfolio Management, Distribution and Risk Management, local and Central Corporate Functions.

In addition, the team is responsible for ad-hoc Reporting and Client Servicing for the Italian Institutional discretionary portfolios.

Business Management supports the Distribution Team with feasibility analyses on new business initiatives and coordinates project related activities, both of business and regulatory nature.

The trainee, supported by the Tutor, will develop the key skills necessary to perform the tasks related to Client servicing, Reporting and support to project initiatives:

- Assistance to Clients/Custodian banks and daily coordination with the Portfolio Services teams based in Zurich for the resolution of operating issues

- Production and delivery of bespoke reporting on discretionary portfolios for Institutional Clients (Pension Funds, Welfare Bodies, Bank Foundations, ) through the use of Aladdin platform

- Participation to project activities and provision administrative support (meeting minutes, process documents, action tracking lists, . . )

The trainee will have the opportunity acquire:

- in-depth knowledge of the AM Industry with specific focus on the Institutional Portfolio Management value chain,

- gain exposure to multiple professional stakeholders of a wide range of seniority and competences in the AM business, within a global complex organization

**Your skills and experience

- You are an undergraduate attending a Master's degree preferably in economics/engineering (focus financial markets)

- You are fluent in Italian and English

- You have excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills as well as a high level of flexibility to react to changes and deal with multiple tasks

- You are an advanced user of MS Excel

- You have high sense of responsibility and can work independently, showing initiative and reliability
