Cook - Assisted Living - Full-time - Days - (90975)Springhouse Lely Palms (located in Naples) ProMedica Senior Living Community is hiring a full-time Cook.

As a Cook, you will prepare meals for the residents and assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions. You will strive to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable setting while serving food that is appetizing and nutritious. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism as you will be in contact with residents and families to ensure their satisfaction.

Job Requirements: Education: High School diplomaSkills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner; Must be able to follow oral and written instructionsYears of Experience: Previous experience in food preparationLicense: N/ACertification: Food Service Sanitation certificate, as per State/Local requirementsPhysical Demands: Ability to punch/pull objects and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis. Must have full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities. Ability to stand for prolonged periods. Subject to burns from equipment and odors throughout working hours.
