Coordinator
Role Summary**:
Lead and supervise the activities of the DCI Technicians during the Disassembly, Cleaning and Inspection (DCI) of the received equipement.
Associate's responsibilities include the improvement of safety, quality, execution and processing of any DCI portion of the job.
The DCI Coordinator reports to the Customer Services Supervisor (or Customer Services Manager).
**Responsibilities & Requirements**:
**Main Accountabilities**:
- Effectively lead the Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection (DCI) process meeting Disassembly & Cleaning Cycle Time (DC CT) and Inspection Cycle Time (I CT) company's targets while ensure compliance with company's objectives and policies related to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), costs, cost reduction and quality.
- Ensure that received equipment is safe for Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection (DCI) process by following the company's Return Goods policy which requests the tagging of the equipment based in the Chemical Risk Assessment and Safety Data Sheet.
Stop any violation to the safety regulations that may ocurr.
- Facilitate that all relevant technical and commercial requirements from Customer or Flowserve are available for the DCI Technicians before the Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection (DCI) process.
Ensure the DCI process is done thru the system.
Prepare and lead daily accountability meetings with the DCI technicians.
- Provide expertise in solving quality related problems.
Reporting deviations of the production through Non conformity Reports (NCR's), initiate and evaluate immediately Corrective Actions (CAR's) and verify effectiveness of the long term solutions.
- Implement a short and long term department plan, including personnel (skill matrix development, career path definition and planned role changes) and tooling/equipment required to continuously improve the Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection (DCI) Unit in line with the company standards.
- AMP accountabilities: Upload Safety Data Sheet (SDS), upload Return Good/Decontamination Form (RG/DF), review technical information, re-select Bill of Materials (BOM) (if needed), receive pump, review inspection report, create As Found report.
**Preferred Experience / Skills**:
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required)**:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in disassembly/assembly of engineered/industrial components, including management in a service center or field service business.
- Fluent in local language and capable to read and understand English language.
Good oral and written communication skills.
- Certification as DCI Technician Level III or above (Flowserve internal training).
- Track record of developing and building new operational capabilities.
Talent acquisition and development
- Proficient level computer skills including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, web-based platforms and navigate in ERP systems.
