Role: Copywriter – European Commission Location: Ispra, Italy - European Commission Responsibilities: Creating, editing, and improving texts for feature stories or articles on client's activities, to be published on the relevant websites. Prepare internal communication material. Preparing Frequently Asked Questions sections for topics covered by the client's activities, which can be used as basis for replying to journalist questions especially related to emergencies. Coordination of the production of communication material (short videos, leaflets, factsheets, user documentation). Maintaining and further improving communication aspects related to the relevant websites. Liaising and coordinating. Support on the organization of technical user group meetings for the Copernicus uptake. Taking care of the editing/layout/printing. Requirements: Extremely strong writing and editorial skills. Great capacity for synthesis, analysis and creative writing. Informed on all main EU policies and the main public opinion elements related to them. Ability to impart information and train others. Languages: Excellent knowledge of Italian – Level C2 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing. Good knowledge of English – Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing. Some soft skills the client will appreciate: Highly flexible and able to adapt to changing and/or conflicting priorities. Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. Analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to conceptualize complex technical environments and issues. Proactive attitude, customer oriented and results. Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working and working in an international/multicultural environment.
