As part of this ongoing effort, we are looking for someone with a technical and planning mindset to work within the Network Planning, Demand, Delivery & Transformation, reporting to the Traffic Engineering & Performance Management, to ensure technical consistency, report and analyse main technical KPIs on the IMS and Data Core.
This role involves providing insights and capacity projections based on the expected future traffic and customers values. We seek an individual passionate about the tech evolution and eager to acquire a good understanding of customer behaviour, willing to work in a team and expand knowledge and expertise beyond the domain focus with an open mind and proactive attitude.
Some business awareness and a good understanding of the dependencies within different sections of the network is welcomed. What you'll doThe candidate will be responsible for identifying, together with the IMS vertical domain, the main KPIs on some IMS nodes, for both the Mobile and Fixed services, to represent the capacity availability and its utilization, generating reliable and timely reports to depict the load status and track the possible improvements due to the expansion or evolution investments, with particular focus on the evolving and maturing IMS network architecture and services captured by the capacity deck twice per year.
In a second phase, the candidate will also support similar activities on the Data Core thus expanding the area of expertise and reach of the role. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role.
The candidate will work closely with teammates in Core, Service and Fixed teams and with colleagues in Traffic Engineering & Performance Management team, in the Global and local Technology functions, in the strategic team and vertical domains, to continuously keep an up-to-date view on the network and develop models that align with our competitive strategies, business objectives, and technical advancements.
The individual will support the Network Evolution Plan (NEP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) creation for mobile and fixed network, identifying the main relevant projects to consider, developing ad hoc analysis and supporting the creation of ad hoc projections for the new services for the IMS domain, and in a second phase Data Core, to dimension its nodes and interfaces. In summary, this role plays a vital part in monitoring the Core domain in Networks, aligning commercial and technical strategies continuously working with the Core domain verticals driving future network evolution, and ensuring a fitting capacity is in place to offer exceptional service performance to our customers. Who you areCore competencies, knowledge and experienceGood knowledge of Mobile and Fixed Network domains. Basics of Statistic and/or Data science. Knowledge of the Performance Management fundamentals. Good understanding of the interaction between domains. Good experience in at least one of the following code/software:SQLPythonPowerBI/Qlik Sense or similar. Must have technical / professional qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Good interpersonal and teamworking attitude, open mind and proactive disposition. Good communication and presentation skills. Innovative, collaborative and creative mindset with basic coding/data science principles knowledge recommended. English Level B2 or above. Not a perfect fit?
