Corporate And Key Account Manager
Position Purpose**:
- accelerate our market performance by defining targets, strategies and go-to-market activities, working closely with the ELL Sales Director;
- contribute to the success of Pearson - supporting the ELL line of business and driving regional growth in Corporations, Tertiary Institutions and Government departments across Italy;
- achieve sales & market share growth of our Assessment, courseware and digital products within the ELL portfolio in liaison with ELL Sales Consultants;
- research the Corporate training market to identify and develop new revenue streams and sector opportunities
**Key accountabilities**:
- **Sales Oriented
- Regular reporting around sales activities, opportunities, forecasts and pipeline.
- Achieving maximum sales & market share growth of Pearson ELL Courseware, Assessment and Corporate portfolio through your own sales calls conducted at institutional level, B2B and B2B2C.
- Deliver annual targets.
- Seek out business partners and engage with network groups, educational associations, corporations and institutions.
- Update and build a database
- Support sales with the provision of information/expertise relating to Pearson's portfolio and capabilities.
- Ability to analyse business in a broader / long-term perspective (anticipating educational trends and institutions
- Cooperate with our distributors and third parties.
- Monitor competition activities throughout the region.
- **Client Focused
- Support new and existing customers to ensure potential for new and ongoing business.
- Facilitate customer-based product trials to maximise new sales potential.
- Demonstrate technology products and services.
- Grow share in key accounts.
- Support customers, providing information and helping solve enquiries.
- Contribute to the overall perception of the Pearson brand as a key player and partner of choice in the marketplace.
- Acquire a thorough knowledge and understanding of Pearson's portfolio and key products, services, and capabilities.
- Bring feedback from the field concerning Pearson products and services.
- **Liaison with other teams
- Support marketing activities throughout the region including presence at events, conferences and exhibitions as well as deliver presentations to customers on your own, both face-to-face and on-line.
- Be active in Social-Media by sharing marketing posts, and recommending Pearson products, getting involved in other Social Media Activities (e. g. , live sessions, live chats).
- Support and liaise with the existing stakeholder network, including Social-Media.
**Personal requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- Experience in lead generation and driving growth in new markets.
- Business orientation and focus with the ability to see things from the stakeholder's position.
- Experienced negotiator with proven track record in delivering sustainable revenue growth for company and customers.
- Evidence of strategic and tactical/consultative sales planning
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Demonstrable and proven track record in implementing strategic sales plans to drive sales growth and achieve sales targets.
- Highly organised and disciplined, keeping deadlines.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English and Italian (B2-C1).
- Willingness to travel
