Your role and responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified and dynamic Corporate Communication Manager for our company, a leader in the industrial automation sector, who will be able to develop an effective marketing and communication strategy leading a team and being responsible for local events and fairs, products marketing, internal and external communication, CRM database activities, social media marketing and press relations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities and coordinating a team of approximately 3 people, including a press specialist, a CRM expert, and an event manager.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in marketing and communication in the field of components for automatic machines, excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach to support sales and work cross-functionally with the technical and commercial departments to stay updated about market situations.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.
This role will contribute to B&R Automation Product Group within the Machine Automation Division in Cesate.
You will be mainly accountable for:Participating in discussions on the local marketing and communication strategy for the business sales growth related to events and fairs management. Writing articles, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and all product/event information to enhance brand awareness in the market. Developing, managing and participating in direct press activities like interviews, roundtable discussions, press conferences, partner events, and fairs while also being a direct point of contact for customers and partners. Together with the event manager, organizing fairs and events by directly managing external suppliers, booking dinners and hotels for colleagues, creating a communication and editorial plan, designing graphics following guidelines, deciding the stands layout and storytelling, and managing all preparation and management activities of the events/fairs, including training of the sales team. Leading and supervising with emotional intelligence the work team (about 3 people), ensuring the achievement of company objectives by monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with southern Europe marketing and communication colleagues and the Austrian headquarter team, taking part in cross-functional projects and meetings. Promoting a positive and inclusive working environment, fostering collaboration and professional development of the team, ensuring integrity and conformity to the group's values in all its activities. Managing directly booth builders/gadgets/press/services and all kinds of external suppliers needed starting from competition among them and their onboarding process through the internal application tool. Supporting budgeting and monitoring the marketing and sales support initiatives/events/fairs operational costs. Supervising administrative practices related to the team leading. Qualifications for the role: You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in product/software/solutions marketing roles in companies in the industrial automation sector or project management and communication roles. You have proven experience in managing teams composed of figures with different personalities and skills. You have solid marketing and communication skills (minimum 5 years of experience), and excellent knowledge of the market for automatic machine components. Advanced use of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferable experience with graphic design tools and basic HTML development. You possess planning and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a strong orientation towards people's well-being and results-driven business growth. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
