Corporate Marketing Communications Director**:
- The Marketing Communications Director directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy and programs, including product launches, internal communication, public relations, external and channel communications, advertising, branding, and regulatory matters.
The area of responsibility includes marketing communication strategy definition and execution, content definition, internal communication, agency management, team management. - Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to), reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer:
- Have full ownership over Datalogic communications strategy towards all stakeholder (internal, external, clients, partner community) and deliver campaigns that drive brand, reputational, and commercial growth;
- Manage media Relations;
- Lead and coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns and activities, including product launches, customers and channel communications, public relations, events, promotions, and sales tools;
- Develop a Brand voice and maintain Brand integrity across all platforms;
- Collaborate with product management, R&D, and global marketing organizations to create and implement effective communication strategies for new and existing products and services;
- Direct the development and execution of an integrated digital marketing strategy that drives customer engagement and lead nurturing, while gathering and reporting meaningful data analytics for future decision making;
- Develop and execute communication plan for crisis, issues, and emergencies;
- Implement performance metrics and tracking tools to measure results of all the activities;
- Lead the activities of the Marketing Communications Department, including managing department personnel, short-term and long-term scheduling, resource needs, and developing and managing the annual marketing budget.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
MBA is a plus;
- Successful track record in senior marketing roles.
Automatic Identification and Data Capture industry experience is a plus;
- Minimum of 10+ years successful marketing communications experience or previous experience shows the use of skills necessary to execute this position successfully;
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communication technologies;
- Proven experience with digital and social media marketing, print marketing and content marketing.
