**Position**:Corporate Marketing Event Specialist

**About The Role**:

Salesforce is seeking a multifaceted event specialist to assist with the planning and execution of both Salesforce's proprietary event portfolio and event portfolio in collaboration with third party organizations as well as Partners.

**Role and Responsibilities include**:

- Plan, design and complete Salesforce, Third Party and Partner events ensuring all activities are delivered on brand, on time and on budget

- Work with a cross-functional team, including internal communications, sales and internal stakeholders alignment and other support as needed.

- Develop positive relationships with partners and stakeholders as a trusted teammate and collaborator

- Lead all aspects of event execution on-site

- Coordinate content creation for internally and externally-facing presentations, event signage, event website, event mobile app, event surveys and more.

- Budget management

- Vendor and external agencies management

- Build and maintain team documents and presentation decks

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e. g.

extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.

)

- 2 - 3 years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified (with an emphasis on event planning)

- Desire to bring to life the event magic in and outside of the country

- Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and use collaboration tools such as Quip and Google

- Ability to set and achieve objectives and enjoy working in a team environment

- Must quickly grasp company messaging and branding

- Strong organizational skills and creative mind

- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, while keeping a close attention to detail

- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills

- Confirmed ability to lead projects, adapt and consistently meet deadlines

- Ability to solve problems and demands quickly and with confidence but also know when to pause and ask for help

- Ability and willingness to build new skills and accept new challenges

- Availability to travel domestically and internationally to support onsite event logistics

- Experience leading similar types of events in a B2B technology setting is a plus

- High energy level and a good sense of humor
