Your key responsibilities
In alignment to the VP operations and the strategic plan of the cluster, this individual will have the responsibility for site and non-site based improvement initiatives project management. With its ability of driving programs or complex projects, he/she will contribute to accelerate the programs in the sites, driving accountability at the sponsors as well at the local team level. Leveraging the experience in technical roles and continuous improvement initiatives in the past, this individual is capable to provide proper governance to monitor operational leading KPIs improvements, to report progress update and to track results, with proper use of the standard best practices & documentation in project management.
The role is preferably located in northern Italy (Milan area) or alternatively in the center of Italy with minimum required travelling at 50% at regime.
- Drive ownership, accountability, at the proper level and ensures tracking of the milestones progression of the assigned programs and projects.
- Challenge the assumptions and validate the sequence of the activities for the best results
- Prioritize resources and organize recovery plans and action plans to keep the projects in budget and on time
- Obtain buy in, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations and requirements
- Prepare and maintain project documentation based on PM best practices
- Communicate openly and transparently and manage cross-functional teams (internal, external, consultants)
- Monitor timing of critical milestones, roadblocks, and workaround
**Profile**:
- Education in Engineer, applied science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in Pharma companies. Proven track record of accomplishments.
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, continuous improvement and/or supply chain roles
- Proficient in reporting tools and data analysis tools
- Experience of working in international and multi-stakeholders environment, above sites
- Excellent communication skills and change management skills
- Fluent in English & Italian, any additional European language is a plus.
