We are looking for a Strategy Advisor to reinforce our Corporate Strategy team.
The role will report directly into the SVP Corporate Strategy and will support the growth of the function and the challenges ahead of our Company expansion.
In this role we expect you to be able to review how the business can improve its practices and help implement goals to best optimise the business strategy.
You will be dealing with and contribute to take key decisions surrounding reducing costs and increasing revenue, therefore you would be working closely with members of senior management.
You are required to be familiar in the advisory phase of creating new strategic action plans.
Also, you will be required to perform troubleshooting on current problems.
This means that projects often have fast moving timespans and you need to be able to work to tight deadlines.
You will be working to identify trends within specific markets (Sport and Entertainment technology) and analyse competitors by gathering data.
We expect you to be able to take your findings and turn them into implementable action plans to improve the business supporting the SVP Corporate Strategy in getting ready to present the possible initiatives to the board of investors.
**Responsibilities
- Contribution to the design of a medium/long term corporate strategy.
- Deeply consider every angle of important decisions that impact the company.
- Support entering into a new market or shifting towards a new business model.
- Offer budgeting advice — Input on best practices to cut costs and drive revenue.
- Define commercial strategies in the sales & marketing domain and draft pricing, customer channel and product market combination strategies supporting the existent teams to enhance their ability to achieve their goals.
- Review current operating model in view of drafting more efficient models and tying those with higher-level business objectives.
- Have a competent understanding of IT and the best ways to implement IT to improve its strategic benefits and value.
- Occasionally fulfil a legal purpose such as in the case of mergers & acquisitions, in close cooperation with the Legal Department.
- Analyzing financial statements to determine how a proposed acquisition will affect the company's solvency.
- Working with management to identify acquisition targets, draft purchase agreements cooperating with the Group Procurement Officer, and facilitate negotiations of the terms of an acquisition contract.

- Industry knowledge: mergers and acquisitions often require having a background in business administration or finance.
Being familiar with working in a corporate setting is important as well.
This experience can help you understanding the challenges companies face when considering a merger or acquisition, including the financial implications of such processes.
- Critical thinking skills: this will allow you to analyze a situation and determine the best course of action.
In your role, you may be asked to provide advice on a potential merger or acquisition, and/or on a new operative model, or on a specific process review.
This can include evaluating the potential benefits and risks and a thorough analysis of what is the best decision to make.
- Project management: designing and adopting a specific Corporate Strategy requires a team of professionals to complete all the relevant activities related to that.
You may be responsible for managing the project and ensuring that all parties involved are on track to complete the project on time and within budget.
- Experience as a strategy consultant or a similar role
- The ability to collect and analyse data, assess problems and structure solutions
- Strong people skills with the ability to build relationship
