On behalf of our Client a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for a **Cost and Resource Specialist **who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Be R&D Project and Portfolio Management Department point of reference within the function regarding expenditures, workload and compliance topics.

- Ensure set up of necessary activities to upload and continuously update OPEX/CAPEX/workload data in relevant projects into the planning system

- Guarantee the consistency of these values with those present in SAP system

- Keep track and provide justifications regarding the deviations from planned spendings

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Contribute to the definition of the budget process

- Align with internal administrative functions and define administration guidelines

- Reference person for the function regarding purchasing of goods and services, in line with budget expectations and in compliance with procurement SOPs

- Coordinate and support preparation and execution of Preclosing/ Budget, Forecast/ Estimate exercises, and update of the current planning whenever relevant in terms of OPEX, CAPEX and workload data input, ensuring continuous communication and alignment with R&D Project and Portfolio Management

- Ensure monthly tracking and reporting of variances, in terms of costs, through the 'Justification for Deviation' tool

- Support timecard input in the system

- Prepare and present Budget Progression tables to Leadership on monthly basis

- Prepare the 'Transfer of Value to HCPs and HCOs' Report in compliance with the EFPIA rules

- Create Purchase Requests in SAP and follow-up the Purchase Orders by managing invoices, preparing service/material entry sheets and tracking payments

- Coordinate and support year-end financial closing by providing accruals and all necessary information/documentation to Accounts and Tax department

- Prepare consultancy agreements, workorders, sponsorship contracts in collaboration with the Legal department and upload the documents on the system

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in similar roles in the Industry

- A high degree of financial and business awareness.

Understanding of working in a matrix organization and project management tools
