**We are looking for a
**Cost Controller.
The position can refer to one of the four offices in Italy, it is required availability to travel abroad for short-medium-long period (depending by client requests and construction site duration - maximum 1 year ).
Current assignment: Belgium and Northern Italy.
We are looking to someone matching the following main characteristics.
**Main responsibilities
- Creating CAPEX budget supported by Engineering departments
- Creating a robust cost control and forecasting system and progress evaluation methodology
- Updating Project Budget
- Keeping under control internal costs
- Reporting to Project Manager current status
- Give support to project invoicing steps
- Report to construction manager
**Requirements**:
- Education:_
- Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelor Degree in Economics/Engineering with min 6 years of work experience) or Diploma (with min 10 years of work experience)
- previous experience in the role
- Technical Competences:_
- Have strong PC competency (Microsoft Office, Excel and pivot tables, working with PDF files, Share Point)
- Have a strong attention to details
- Social Competences:_
- Be a team player, adaptable and practical
- Assuring the team work approach with a special focus on challenges due to decentralized teams
- Prerequisites:_
- Previous experience in chemical and/or Pharmaceutical construction sites is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English, additional language will be considered as a plus
- Previous experiences in construction sites will be considered as a plus
- Be driven to succeed and be willing to learn and in doing so support others in the team
